Bill Gates sagði fyrir 5 árum að 60milljónir myndu deyja af völdum kórónuveirunnar, löngu áður en hún lét á sér kræla. Spádómar sérfræðinganna hafa fallið langt frá raunveruleikanum. Fjöldi þeirra sem hafa látist af völdum veirunnar eru álíka margir og í venjulegri flensu. Enn fleiri eru að deyja af völdum þeirra aðgerða sem gripið hefur verið til til að "verja" fólk fyrir ódæðinu.

Nú hefur forseti El Salvador sagst taka inn sama lif og segir alla leiðtoga á heimsvísu gera hið sama sem fyrirbyggjandi meðferð, þeim sé ráðlegt að gera það og hann segist ekki skilja af hverju almenningur sé ekki hvattur til hins sama.
